
SKIMMING
Skimming is part of plastering work, by applying thin two coat method for smoothing walls. Finishing process of plastering will be done on walls or ceilings to create a smooth finish for painting or wallpapering.

RENDERING
Is a process whereby an external wall covering, applied by hand and tools, is applied by a plasterer to protect the bricks or blocks from which the building is constructed from and is normally covered with paint or a wall coating to protect the render surface from cracks or erosion.

SCREEDING
Screeding is a type of concrete used to form a level surface. It is used to either to receive floor finishes, to encase underfloor heating pipes or to be left as the wearing surface
COVING/CORNICE
Coving is a profiled moulding used to conceal the joint between a wall and a ceiling so that it does not have to be finished and any cracking along the joint is hidden. Coving gives a nice finish off to a room.

Dry lining
Dry lining is a plastering process that is used for applying plasterboards to any space quickly, cleanly and in a cost efficient way. It is used to save time and money and protect from moisture, acoustics and fire. It is often used just to improve the look of a property and prepare it for decorating.

STUD WALLS/PLASTERBOARD
Building a partition or non load-bearing wall is great way of dividing space. These are also called stud walls. The easiest way to build a partition wall is to make a timber frame and put plasterboard on the face.
